超高速A/D轉(zhuǎn)換器是信號分析處理操作系統(tǒng)的關(guān)鍵構(gòu)成部分。廣泛運用于雷達(dá)探測、高速寬帶數(shù)字接收器和高速硬盤。符合各種性能指標(biāo)要求的超高速A/D轉(zhuǎn)換器的設(shè)計方案成為了這類操作系統(tǒng)的重中之重和難點。現(xiàn)階段,基本上所有的采樣率在1GHz以上的超高速A/D轉(zhuǎn)換器都選用并行相對比較(flash)結(jié)構(gòu)。這類A/D轉(zhuǎn)換器具備采樣率高、操作系統(tǒng)簡單等特點。它是最常見的高速低分辨率(8位以下)結(jié)構(gòu)特征。在并行相對比較結(jié)構(gòu)特征中,最重要的零部件是并行比較器。其性能指標(biāo)直接關(guān)系到操作系統(tǒng)的速度、分辨率、面積積和功耗,是整個A/D轉(zhuǎn)換器設(shè)計方案的重中之重。
